Name: Charlie Kennedy.
Age: 23.
Weight loss to date: 1.5 stone, lots of toning.
About You: I am a fun outgoing girl, live with my
partner, have a degree in Sociology and Criminology, just left Primary
School teaching and now work as a Youth Advisor. I have always struggled
maintaining a healthy weight and can yoyo very easily.
Life before ODFC: Work, work, work, work.
Relationship with fitness pre ODFC: Following years of rare physical
activity I joined a gym but rarely attended and lacked motivation and
enthusiasm for fitness, something I perceived as a daunting chore.
Before I join I thought ODFC would be highly militated, hard work and
too extreme for my ability levels. I put off trailing for weeks as I
thought everyone would be super fit and I’d be embarrassed at my lacking
fitness ability; the vast range of abilities shocked but proved highly
motivational for me. I have enjoyed and embrace regular classes, suffer
from withdrawal symptoms when miss lengthily periods and have achieved
things I never thought I would comfortably, i.e.-a Triathlon, the Great
North Run.
ODFC has shown me exercise can be fun whilst giving !
Prospect for the future: I will now always maintain
exercise. ODFC members of varying ages (teens – their 60s) are a great
motivation.
Likes: Girlie Things
Hates: Disorganisation and the rain. |
